COMMUNITY CLEAN UP
COMMUNITY CLEAN UP EVENT
On Saturday 25th March, Na Dubh Ghall, in conjunction with Baldoyle Tidy Towns, held a Community Clean up. We also kicked off the event with the planting of an Oak tree in Racecourse Park.
A heavy rainfall at 3pm didn’t deter our great group of volunteers and it was fantastic to see such large numbers turn up to help. Great credit to our younger club members who came back out in the rain to pick litter, having all had matches or training in the morning.
Finally, we would just like to thank the following:
– All the parents and club volunteers who assisted in the tidy up.
– Baldoyle Tidy Towns for their help in organising the event.
– Councillor Joan Hopkins and Fingal Council for their assistance, as well as the provision of the Oak tree.
Please check out our Gallery section for all the photos from the day
