Racecourse Park was buzzing on Saturday morning (22nd July) as Na Dubh Ghall hosted an Internal Football Blitz.
We had over 90 kids, from the ages of 6 to 13, tog out for the event and they all did the club proud.
There was plenty of drama, exciting games, a high standard of football and a lot of enjoyment across the three age categories.
With huge support there to watch on, it was great to see the kids get a chance to showcase their talent and highlight how much they are all improving.
In the 6-9 age group Limerick pipped Westmeath in the final. In the 9-11 age group Cavan saw off a strong challenge from the Kerry team. While in the 12-13 age group Monaghan emerged victorious over Tipperary.
The club would like to thank all the volunteers who helped out and contributed to the event running so smoothly.
We would also like to thank all the parents/families/supporters who came to cheer on. Having such a great, vociferous crowd meant a lot to the kids and is much appreciated.
